2.   Putting (a few) spelling words in alphabetical order and thinking about where they might be found in a dictionary

 

Geography:
Mapping the Eastern states and their capitals
 
Identifying longitude and latitude on a map

 

Civics:
The American Flag (to tie up our USA mapping and capitals)
